Karin Murray-Bergquist is a PhD student in folklore, whose studies have ranged from walruses in Icelandic sagas to the role of folklore in the poetry of the Romantics, and whose main passion is the sea. She is an actor, writer, and artist, and one half of the Practical Fantasists creative team.
