Eleanor Conlon:
Eleanor is a folklorist, actor, puppeteer, costume maker, theatre practitioner, and an award-winning writer based in Sussex, England.
She has an MA in Shakespeare and Early Modern Drama and trained at Shakespeare’s Globe, where she conducted research into Renaissance Magic and Original Practices costume, and has a BA in English from Goldsmith’s College, University of London.
In addition to her work on the Three Ravens Podcast, Eleanor’s plays for Rust & Stardust include The Wild Man of Orford, Dr Dee’s Daughter and The Philosopher’s Stone, The Green Children of Woolpit, Black Shuck, Tweethearts, and The Marsh Demons of Iken.
As a storyteller, Eleanor has worked with Brighton Storytellers, Hove Museum & Art Gallery, and Kew Gardens Glow Wild. In 2018, she collaborated with acclaimed double bassist Rosie Moon on The Northern Siren, a musical poem for double bass and voice, which is available on Spotify and Apple Music.
Eleanor recently completed her first poetry collection and continues to produce scripts and short stories. She won the inaugural Dead Cat Poetry Prize in 2021 for her poem Felicette and the Lightning.

Martin Vaux:
Martin is a storyteller, actor, and award-winning writer based in Sussex on England’s south coast.
After completing his BA in English at the University of Exeter and working as an arts journalist for magazines and newspapers including The Oxford Times and The NME, he won the BBC Moo! New Writers’ Prize in 2009 and has written for film, TV, stage, and radio, presenting and producing radio shows across southern and south west England.
After teaching full and part-time for over a decade, he was Highly Commended by the International Keats-Shelley Essay Prize in 2021, and is currently studying for his MA in Romantic and Victorian Literature and Culture at Goldsmith’s College, University of London.
In addition to his work on the Three Ravens Podcast, Martin’s family play The Princess and the Winter Dragon debuted at Tonbridge Castle in 2022 and is booked through Christmas 2023 at Trinity Theatre Tunbridge Wells.
He has written two novels, has had several short stories and poems published, and co-created the UK Games Expo Award-Winning fantasy card game Lords of War.
