Rachel Ann Harding is a traditional storyteller, musician, educator and podcaster who is passionate about sharing beautiful folk, myth, and traditional tales. In 2018 she was a featured storyteller for the Exchange Place at the National Storytelling Festival in Jonesborough, TN. She is the creator and producer of the Story Story Podcast, which showcases traditional storytelling from around the world. The podcast seeks to not only showcase brilliant traditional tellers from around the world but also create awareness around and encourages the growth of the tradition of telling folk tales. She is also the cohost of the live storytelling series Stories with Spirit.
Rachel Ann and storyteller/actor Cooper Braun founded Stories With Spirit in 2014 to share their acting and storytelling with adult audiences. They bring traditional live storytelling into the new millennium with a variety of tellers that bring their unique interpretations and fresh perspectives to classic tales. From in-person tellings to online events, Stories With Spirit delivers traditional tales for a contemporary audience. Stories with Spirit is also produces the Fairy Tale Variations series in which multiple tellers perform very different versions of the same tale. From the fairy tale classic to the modern, audiences hear the story from every character’s perspective in a single event. Rachel Ann and Cooper have produced over 20 virtual storytelling shows, and performed
in many more.
As an educator, Rachel Ann weaves story and song together to create unique and entertaining storytelling events, keynotes, workshops and classes for both adults and children that display the relevance of storytelling in our lives. Rachel Ann believes that fairytales are not just for children and mesmerizes audiences with old tales woven into new adventures.
